Okay, well, I forgot that I had started this. Found it in my web surfing. Not sure this is my forte, but I'll try it. I would like to add some postings that I wrote and posted on my Facebook. See what it brings. For now...

I'm reading a lot about the end-times. It surely is...the end times. I've never seen the things that were prophesized in the Bible, be so clear. I think the most prominent ones are the laws passed to allow things that are blatantly forbidden by God and the Christians that are being persecuted, tortured and killed all over the world. It's even beginning to pick up pace here in the U.S.  Mostly politically at this point. If we disagree with abortion, homosexuality, legalizing prostitution or drugs, we're ridiculed and sometimes ostracized. The Bible said it was going to happen.  But I remember this scripture, "Where sin abounds, grace does much more abound." This encourages me to look around and LOOK FOR what God is doing and has done! He's the "Glory and the lifter of my head!" I imagine a little girl who is sad or hurt, with her chin to her chest, and her daddy reaches down and pulls up her chin so she is looking straight in His eyes. All else is washed away except the loving eyes of the Father. He will bring us through the tough times if we keep our eyes focused on His!

I'm New Here

On September 25, it's a pleasant fall day here in Winnisquam, NH.  I see a few bright colored leaves on the ground and several bright red trees further in town. But it's been a strange summer. Too many hot and humid summer days for the northern New England states, then cool in August, and now finally Fall, with cool nights and daytime temps between 60 and 75 degrees.
Cutting into time that's supposed to be used for preparation for soon-coming guests, I've decided to start a blog! So typical of me! In about 30 minutes, the group will be here. My husband and I call it our weekly "Old Girl" Scrabble Game. Mother-in-law and two widowed aunties, at 65 years old, I'm the kid.
     Gotta go... it's almost time!
